Looking for a lower intensity dance fitness class that promotes cardiovascular fitness, muscular conditioning, flexibility and balance? Come try a World Beat dance fitness class with easy-to-follow choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination!
No assessment needed. Open to all levels of fitness and dance experience.
This class is lead by Fran Means – AFAA Group Exercise certified dance instructor.
“As an older adult, I have a passion to share the fun and sense of wellbeing I’ve found in staying active through movement. I have taught martial arts, women’s and children’s self-defense, and aerobics. After dancing for several years as a student, I decided to train to become a Zumba® Basic instructor. In the next year, I added Zumba® Gold, Zumba® Toning, and Zumba® Gold Toning certification.”
This 50 minute dance class is geared toward any level of skill and ability, with a focus on joyful movement! We will get our heart rate up, use many different muscle groups, and have opportunities to balance and stretch. This body is the one we’ve got, so let’s have fun!
